Natural Leather Upper / Birkenstock Shoe Removable Footbed - Suede Lined Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. Birkenstock purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features such as naturally occurring colour irregularities.
This footbed is made from cork and latex with a soft suede lining and like the classic footbed offers great support, unlike the classic footbed, it is slightly thinner to allow for space in the shoe and easily removable, so those with their own orthotics can also enjoy Birkenstock shoes.
The Davao
A clever and practical design, the Davao is a great all-rounder, with the classic leather and suede elements of a sturdy shoe teaming with the casual and sporty elements of a sneaker. Offering adjustable Velcro fasteners , of which the slight asymmetry conforms to the natural shape of the foot, providing an excellent fit, the Davao is easy to take on and off. Reflective tabs on the rear of the shoe make them noticeable in the dark and the ergonomically shaped cork latex footbed is removable and will provide comfort and support.
